Configuring Email Clients like Outlook Express or Thunderbird to download emails
When accessing an email account through a desktop email application such as Outlook Express®, the email application will require specific information about that email account. You can use the auto-configure options given in cPanel to attempt to automatically configure your email application. If the available options are not compatible with your application, you will need to use the Manual Settings information to configure the application.
To download automatically configuration file or Manual settings, follow this steps.
- Login to your cPanel using http://yourdomain.com/cpanel
- Click on Add/Remove Email Accounts
- Now, go to Current Accounts section and select Configure Email Client from the Functions drop down. And click on Go.
- This will open new window from where you can download automatically configuration file to use with your email client. Or you can find Manual Settings for accessing your email account.

Manual Settings
Mail Server Username: complete email address (e.g. info@yourdomain.com, if not work, use info+yourdomain.com)
Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com(server requires authentication) port 26
If you want to use SSL
Incoming Mail Server: (SSL) *.websitewelcome.com
Outgoing Mail Server: (SSL) *.websitewelcome.com(server requires authentication) port 465
Supported Mail Protocols
Incoming Mail Protocols: POP3, POP3S (SSL/TLS), IMAP, IMAPS (SSL/TLS)
Outgoing Mail Protocols: SMTP, SMTPS (SSL/TLS)
